Referee Information
Please contact the Referee Director, CJ Koll if you wish to be considered as a referee for the Mt Hood Challenge Soccer Tournament. Guest referees are welcome and encouraged to contact CJ to review the tournament details prior to being scheduled. We will have a hosted dinner and tournament ‘LOTG’ meeting for all referees on Thursday, July 29, 6pm-9pm for the Senior weekend and on Thursday, August 5, 6pm-9pm for the Junior weekend.

FEE AND PAYMENT DETAILS:
1. A 2% ($20 minimum) GotSport fee will be added to your tournament registration fee. If paying with a credit/debit card, this fee is automatically processed by GotSport as a separate transaction on your bankcard statement.
2. Click on ‘Pay NOW with a card’ and the payment is processed once your team is accepted. A 4.25% fee will be added to card payments.
3. Click on ‘Pay LATER (check, cash, Zelle, etc.)‘ to use all other payment methods. Use the address below to mail a check. Please contact Valorie for approval to bring cash to team check-in or for information on using any other payment method.
NO payments will be accepted at fields.
NO checks accepted after July 23.
Payments must be received by July 23 if you wish to take advantage of the opportunity to check in at selected fields on Friday, July 30 (U15-U19 teams) OR Friday, August 6 (U9-U14 teams). If not paid in full by July 23, you will need to come to the check-in hotel that is designated for your weekend to pay with cash or card. Visit our website, Team Check-in, for full details on checking in your team at selected fields or in person at the hotel.

The 19th Annual Mt Hood Challenge is scheduled for TWO weekends in 2027. The U15-U19 teams will play on July 30, 31, August 1. The U9-U14 teams will play on August 6, 7, 8. Our goal is to have the Mt Hood Challenge be the highlight of your summer soccer season. As a result, you can count on us to do everything required to achieve our goal. The tournament has already become a great experience for teams from throughout the west, creating long-lasting memories and great competition.
For the most part, age groups will be assigned to specific fields in the Portland Metro area for all their games. In order to accommodate coaches with two teams or other scheduling requests, we may have to deviate from these assignments for some games. We will make every effort to keep these deviations to a minimum. Our goal is to minimize the time spent in vehicles traveling to/from your games. If you are a travel team, please work closely with Valorie to find the hotels that will be close to the fields. You will also want to discuss playing your Friday game after 2:30pm so your families can save the Thursday night hotel stay.
Basic Tournament Schedule:
