WELCOME TO THE MT HOOD CHALLENGE

Approved Partner Hotels

The Mt Hood Challenge is a stay-n-play tournament which means that ALL participating teams must stay at partner hotels or call Valorie to discuss an exception. Valorie worked with hotel leaders to obtain room blocks and rates last fall so that your team is assured of the best rates possible. Discounted tournament rates at partner hotels are only available to teams booking through our lodging process and working with Valorie.

You can click on the links below to find the list of approved Partner Hotels by age groups, U8-U14 and U15-U19. The list is sorted so that you can see which hotels will be closer to the fields where your team would play the majority of their games. Teams are welcome to choose any Partner Hotel, but choosing a hotel recommended for your age group will reduce travel time to/from the fields and the hotel.

Families and teams booking on their own will be charged the hotel’s current rates and are not eligible for the discounted tournament rates. If partner hotels are full, Valorie will work with your team leaders to find a nearby hotel.

NEW for 2026 – we have partnered with the Northwest Portland Hostel. You can click on the link below to check them out. They are in a downtown location that is perfect for all age groups on both weekends. Call Valorie, 503-740-6734, to discuss them as an option for your families.
