The 4th Annual Nike Mt Hood Challenge is scheduled for TWO weekends in August 2012. The U15-U19 teams will play on August 10-12 and the U9-U14 teams will play on August 17-19. We strongly encourage everyone to review the information provided for your specific age group to better understand the tournament formats and how to choose the best bracket for your team.

Our goal is to have the Nike Mt Hood Challenge be the highlight of your summer soccer season. As a result, you can count on us to do everything required to achieve our goal. The tournament has already become a great destination experience for teams from throughout the west, creating long-lasting memories and great competition.

For the most part, age groups will be assigned to specific fields in the Portland Metro area for all of their games. In order to accommodate coaches with two teams or other special scheudling requests, we may have to deviate from these assignments for some games. We will make every effort to keep these deviations to a minimum. Our goal is to minimize the time spent in vehicles traveling to/from your games. If you are a travel team, please work closely with Valorie to find the hotels that will be close to the fields your teams will be playing on.

Friday game times: August 10 (U15-U19) & August 17 (U9-U14 teams):

• All premier division teams (U9-U19) will begin games at 9am on Friday
• Any team not at a partner hotel will begin games at 9am on Friday
• Local teams (less than a 2-hour drive) will begin games at 9am on Friday

Please contact Mike Morris (503-317-7576) if you have any questions about what time your team will play on Friday. Games will generally begin at 8:30am or 9am on Saturday. All games will begin at 8am on Sunday so that teams can get on the road as early as possible.
