There is a lot happening in Oregon, especially in the Portland Metro Area. Visit the Washington County Visitor's Assocation website for a list of places to go and things to see when you are not at the soccer fields. Or better yet, add extra days when here and you can see it all.

Contact them for coupon books to the local shopping malls and other special deals to restaurants and area attractions. Make sure you mention the Mt. Hood Challenge.
