List of Approved Nike Shoppers

Nike Rules for Shopping

Each team can list TWO shoppers that will have access to the Nike Company Store. Attached is the most recent list of approved shoppers and the rules for shopping - dates, family members, hours, etc. If you are on the list, please make sure you read the rules so you will know what to expect.

Your team leaders are the only people authorized to add or delete names from this list and all changes to the list must be submitted by Wednesday, July 29. We will need their name as it appears on their government issued ID and we will need their email address. NO changes or additions will be allowed after this date as the list will have been sent to Nike for them to process on their end. Sorry for any inconvenience.

All shoppers will be allowed a ONE-TIME entry to the Nike Company Store during the approved Mt Hood Challenge official shopping days. The list of 'Rules' is included so make sure you read this in advance of shopping at the store.

Team Dinners

Several local hotels are sponsoring team dinners. If you are a travel team, make sure you ask your hotel about their special offerings. I know that many of the hotels sell out each year so make your reservations early. Avoid traffic, avoid the crowds and eat in the comfort of your own hotel.

The Crowne Plaza in Lake Oswego has opened their hotel to EVERY team in the tournament that might want to enjoy a team dinner.

Crowne Plaza Team Dinner

Several restaurants will also deliver to local parks and hotels. Again, make sure you contact them early so that you get your first choice dinner options.

U15-U19: August 8, 9, 10
U9-U14: August 15, 16, 17

We are very excited to announce the dates for 2014 and we look forward to seeing all 631 returning teams as well as many new teams. The Mt Hood Challenge has quickly become the tournament of choice for teams to wind down their busy summer tournament season.

Due to popular demand, we will be using the same tournament structure for 2014 that we used last year. In case you missed us last year, here is how the tournament will work:

Friday: Over 80% of the teams will play a single game (a few might play two, but that is not the norm). Games will begin around 1pm and teams at partner hotels traveling 4+ hours will be able to request a later start on Friday.
Saturday: Teams should plan on two games. The games will be from 9am to 7:30pm.
Sunday: Teams should plan on a single game. The games will be from 9am to 5pm.

All games will occur in the Portland Metro Area. Fields are conveniently located to restaurants, tax-free shopping and great hotels. Teams traveling to the tournament will have access to our personal travel coordinator. She can help you find the hotel that will best suit your team and she can help arrange team dinner reservations and assist with scheduling team activities around your soccer games.

All teams are guaranteed four games and each team will advance to the playoff rounds once the preliminary rounds have been completed. First and second place bracket champions will receive medals. Championship photos will be available to all families after the tournament. Players, coaches and managers listed on the roster will receive a customized souvenir pin.

Tour the website. Call with questions (numbers below). Find out why the Mt Hood Challenge will quickly become your team's favorite tournament of the year. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at team check-in.
